Special Issue “Internet and Landscapes” general call for papers, April 30th 2011.

The ISPRS working group on geographical visualisation and virtual reality is putting together a special issue on Internet and Landscapes in 2011. The Internet has become a ubiquitous platform for communicating and disseminating geographic information. There are a plethora of online resources and tools available to share information and develop a better understanding of both our natural and built landscapes.

We have six invited papers being led by a number of international authors including: Prof K Lowell et al. (AUS), Dr A Hudson-Smith (UK), Dr A Coltekin et al. (Switz), Dr P Paar (Singapore), Dr O Schroth (CAN) and M Imhof (Aus). Abstracts for these forth-coming papers are available on the special issue websitehttp://www.mdpi.com/journal/futureinternet/special_issues/landscapes/. As guest editor for this special issue I would like to invite you to submit a paper for consideration on one of the following or related topics.
