Recent updates to the Victorian Online Resources – 3D Object Library

The Victorian Resources Online (VRO) 3D Object Library comprises more than 250 digital representations of vegetation, animals, built structures and rural landscapes created by the Future Farming Systems, Research Division, Department of Primary Industries (DPI) Victoria. There has been a recent update of more than 75 digital objects into the library over the last 6 months. Updates to the collection include dominant timber species (pine and blue gum) and some dry pasture objects (lucerne and ryegrass). There are also a number of species of the same age, which allows landscape modellers to create more diverse and photo-realistic landscape visualisations. All the objects are available in four commonly used file formats like .OBJ,.DAE (open source),3DS and .SKP (Google Earth compatible).
