VisWeek 2012 Digest by Robert Kosara Part I and Part II
I know you are into visualization research. Why else would you be following this blog? (smiles)
Here’s a treat by Robert Kosara, as he offers a digest from VisWeek, entwined with opinions and observations of his own: http://eagereyes.org/blog/2012/visweek-2012-digest-part-1
ps. If you’ve never heard of VisWeek or Kosara, maybe it’s time you did. Go google them ..
pps. ..and stop using the rainbow colors already!

Part II was also published recently, so I’m updating this entry instead of making a whole new entry. This part includes references to some (very nice) work that are very relevant to geographic visualization on visual variables to express uncertainty (more particularly, sketchiness), along other reflections from Kosara.
